High School exams preparation.

After the Europeans in Croatia last year I haven't been posting blogs as much as I would liked to have done. School has taken an awful lot of time from me, time that I normally would've used to go windsurfing or do something about my updates. But sometimes you have these kind of periods in which you really have to go all in to succeed.

High school has not been easy for me. It started of with three years on a small High School in a village nearby, a really small school where everyone knew each other. I had my friends there and it was great to step onto the bicycle every day to use the seven kilometers back an forth to school as training, and a moment to clear the head. Since I have been studying at the highest level in the Netherlands, and there were not enough competent teachers and students at this level in this particular small school, to also take care of the superstructure of Atheneum, it was mandatory for me to go to a bigger school in the city.

As a newbie in the third grade it was hard for me to get into the already existing groups of friends at this huge school, with approximately 1500 students a big difference if you compare it to the 150 students at my previous school. I couldn't find the flow in this school and so after half a year I made the decision to go to a High School all the way in Leeuwarden. This choice turned out to be the right one. Despite the fact that it had often been very tough for me, I was able to get my diploma here. And now right before the central exams, the moment that I've been dreaming about for the last six years in high school, I'm really done with it. Long days of study in the office are not the type of days that make me feel happy. I just want to be on the water and push hard, that's what makes me happy. Finally after passing the exams I will be aloud to do what makes me happy. And that's the big reward for which I fought for six years. Let's get it on, I'm more prepared than ever, and ready to rumble.
